They call this a Conservation Act?

A bill that would devastate a climbing area in Arizona and potentially destroy thousands of boulder problems is slated for a hearing tomorrow in the Senate.  The Southeast Arizona Land Exchange and Conservation Act of 2011 already passed the House last year, but the Senate has the power to stop it and save Oak Flat.  If your senator is on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, please contact them and urge them to oppose this bill.  And if it reaches the Senate floor, everyone who loves bouldering on our public lands should make their voices heard.
